Kylie has a very serious infection right now. They are working to control it, and seem to be making very slow and steady progress. I'm not ready to post details yet for the world to read, but yesterday was a very difficult day. The report this morning is very encouraging, but we're not out of the woods just yet. At least we're headed in the right direction. We know now that she won't be coming home any time soon. If she keeps improving, though, she will come home eventually.
I had always heard about Ronald McDonald Houses, but never had been in one before yesterday. We were given a room to relax in and take a short nap, plus a snack and drink. It was nice to be able to get out of the pod for a little while for a breather. Next time you are at McDonald's, think about dropping your change into the Ronald McDonald House collection box on the counter.
