Intermediate Care...Technically

I know I just updated last night, so sorry if this is way too many updates, but I know there are some out there that are detail hungry. We left Kylie's bedside at 1am last night. (David graciously went to Blockbuster last night and rented New Moon for us and we watched in her room while she slept. David has always been a trooper and watched the vampire movies with me on DVD.) So, we left that night late and everything was the same and then this morning I ran into her surgeon in the hall and he told me that she has been moved to intermediate care--technically. They don't have a bed for her in the cardiac wing, so she is in the exact same spot, but gets a whole lot less attention. They have her off the IV's completely. She still has one line in, and that is simply for a kidney test (the one they have been trying to do for over a year and can't get an IV in to do it.) tomorrow and then that line will go. Her final pacemaker wires and heart drainage will go tomorrow as well. Everything else is gone--off of her. So, yea! She is doing well. She still doesn't want to eat and stays on Tylenol with Codine pretty regularly, because she still seems pretty miserable. But all in all, she is good. She is starting to get pretty bored, but she doesn't really want to be held either. We are so pleased and feel so very blessed.

Tomorrow I am heading to the OB's office for a visit to check on baby number 4. Hopefully all is well in that department too.

Sorry she's still in some pain, but sounds like she's getting a lot better. Kelly, Holly and I just got together for lunch yesterday, and we are all hoping for the best for her!! We also saw Christina's, Evan Lee, at Cafe Rio while we were chatting. So funny. We really missed you there. You've got to get to Utah sometime soon. Know you're a little busy at the moment though.
Hope your doc appt goes well tomorrow for baby #4!! Thinking of you!
