Beds Kings and Rings

So, I haven't posted much about life lately and the not so fun stuff that is coming up I will detail later, but for now here are some of the highlights of the last month.

We FINALLY finished the girls room. I have gone round and round with paint colors and designs what to do, but Emily agreed and loves it so yea! We are done! (Well, I say that but the dresser is still a blonde wood that needs to be stripped and painted white, but the rest is done!)

So, yep you guessed it that now means that Kylie is in a bed instead of a crib and she is doing phenomenally well. Her bed has rails as you can see and she has never even attempted to crawl out. She also seems to sleep much deeper in her bed, I think she is very happy to be a "big girl."

Well, the Olympics came and went and we did enjoy watching some events together as a family, which was fun. Also, anyone who knows me, knows that opening ceremonies was an event not to be over looked, so I made Olympic fruit rings as our dessert for that night. Everyone loved it! In case you can't tell the brown (supposed to be black ring) was made out of chocolate chips--I figured that was better that black olives. :)

Also, we headed to a fun birthday party at one of those bounce places for our niece's 5th birthday party. Dallin already towers over her. She has always been petite. I think my two kiddos had way more fun getting their faces painted than from bouncing, but they had fun and that's what counts.

And lastly, last time I had joy school I got a cute picture of the kiddos being Kings for the letter "K". The one and only girl in Joy school is Chloe and she insisted that she was a queen so we made her crown red. I love them at this age!

Well, that is it for now, I have had more than my far share of ultrasounds for this new little boy I am sporting on my front side, but all is well. He is growing like a champ and everything looks great, which again is so nice to hear. I have entered that "are you freaking kidding me, I still have 7 weeks to grow!!!" stage, but hey we all get there.
