And Here We Wait...

Well, when your baby girl goes in for open heart surgery, they let you go into the nice waiting room, with the big TV and comfy chairs and computers. So, instead of diving into Harry Potter I decided to get online for a minute. We have been here since before 6am and they took her from us at 7:45. They gave her what they called a "margarita" (some medicine) and wow, as crazy worried as we are it was pretty fun to see her get so loopy. She was laughing and even hiccuping for a little bit and just acting completely drunk. The nice part was we prepped her skin with the anitbactiral wipes, we dressed her in her gown and I rocked her in a glider wrapped in warm blankets for almost an hour. Then they carried her off--this is hard. We'll update as we can. The surgery should last 3-4 hours and that start time probably won't be for a little bit yet, they are still prepping her and running lines right now, from what we know. Alright, that's it for now.
