Well, Dallin's 6 year-old birthday party was a hit! The boys all had a great time and if it only been about 10 degrees cooler it would've made wearing the Jedi robes more pleasurable. It tapped out about 90 degrees on Saturday and we had the party in late afternoon so the little ones could sleep through it, which they did, yay~
Well, here is the super, duper easy light saber cake
Dallin woke up and saw the decorated cupcakes and was very excited!
Ok totally random picture from Saturday morning, but they weren't at the party, and it's really rare to get a picture of both of them looking at the camera (even though Kylie is upside-down)
Back to the party. The boys earned their light sabers and Jedi robes after they completed their Jedi training (an obstacle course)
Nothing is better to 5 and 6 year old boys than giving them a weapon and then letting them use it!
We played pin the Jedi on the death star, and whacked the heck out of Darth Vader's head
We also played a version of hot potato with a "death star" to some John Williams classic Star Wars music. 3-D glasses were handed out for all of the 3-D decoration viewing fun.
Time for presents and cake
Good times! Happy birthday again my little buddy!

Great job on the party!! I'm so jealous! I wish my 25th birthday had been a Star Wars party. The "Jedi Training" was so clever!
