Speech

Today Kylie started Speech Therapy. Finally. They came for the evaluation in July and her first appointment was today. Go ECI. I just love government run programs. Anyway, we had PT this morning and while Dallin and I were having lunch I was trying to explain to him that Kylie had yet one more therapy session today. I explained that she can't talk or eat right so a man was coming over to help her learn how. While I was in the middle of telling Dallin all the things Kylie can't do, he interrupted me and said, "But Mommy, she can laugh!"
Yes, my sweet son, she can laugh and thank you for changing my perspective. I can learn a lot from a really rebellious three-year-old.

What a great reminder and a little bit of perspective!

Wow, I look forward to all the insights that a child's perspective can bring.

I love Dallin's sweet comments. I also love that you were able to get me up SUPER early this morning and through me in a SUPER cold pool. I'm glad you did, the workout is over for the day and now I can say I've swam laps.

What a sweet boy Dallin is Amy. The 2-3 year age can be a bit of a chalange but sometimes its that age group that can really brighten your day by saying just the right things. :)

So sweet. Kids really do always tell the truth. So funny how mine always seems to put me in my place!
