School

Well, today is the day I have dreaded and looked forward to for many many years. My little ladybug started Kindergarten today and I managed to leave her there without too much fuss. Today is also David's birthday, so he stayed home and we are going to spend some fun times with Dallin and Kylie. I can't believe how fast the past 5 1/2 years have gone. It's amazing! She will love it! Her best friend Kate is in her class too, which greatly helps alleviate my worries, knowing she'll have someone she knows and loves right there with her. Well, she requested a pancake breakfast and that is what she got, along with hotdog lunchable for lunch and of course a new back-to-school outfit. She looked beautiful and confident and we are so proud of her.

Alright on to the pictures, (of course there are a ton!) The first is the oldest digital picture of her. It was taken with our brand new digital camera on Christmas Eve 2005. She had just turned 3. She is the shorter one in the dress. The girl with her is her cousin Nicole. Isn't she adorable?

This is her before we leave--don't pay attention to the thousands of shoes next to her.
On our walk to school--Daddy is behind taking pictures I didn't know about--but I am grateful he did.

Walking in
Getting her "walking" name tag Her teacher and saying good-bye.

Well, good luck little lady--you'll do great and we love you!

Yeah! Kindergarten for Emily is here! I know I talk all tough, but it is a sad day. You just start to think and worry about this and that, you at least knew of a great friend in Emily's class. I didn't really know of anyone in Logan's class. It's nerve wracking, and your mind can start to play games with you, ya know?! And, I can assure you, I did get the lump in my throat, and it's especially scary when the get on the bus and there are no long drawn out sad good-byes for first graders. I got a little more time to say good-bye with K-garten. I guess I shouldn't go on, so as not to make you worry more! Emily will do great though. Her outfit is adorable, and she looks so grown up and smart. You guys kind of look like you are walking on the straight and narrow path to heaven, with the sun coming up in front of you! How cute! Her teacher looks way excited!

Ohhh...she has Mrs. Engle! Jacob & I loved her, she is the sweetest teacher ever!
Those shoes! :) We have to do wardrobe choices the night before, or Kiernan might never make it to school.
