Well, Monday and Tuesday David & I were able to get away. We went to Schlitterbahn-New Braunfels (kidless) so we actually got to ride the fun slides--we really enjoyed ourselves. Tuesday we headed to the San Marcos shops--oh how I love them. I am grateful for a husband who had a tight hold on his wallet (I wasn't really allowed to carry a credit card). However, when we split up (me credit card-less) he managed to buy a chain saw. So much for us worrying about me. :) We also got some back to school clothes for Emily from the Children's Place outlet and stuff for the house, shoes, etc. A fun couple of days and thanks to my family for taking the kiddos. We went in celebration of our 7th anniversary, which was on Sunday. It is so hard to believe it's been 7 years, and then sometimes it's hard to believe it's only been 7 years. We have been through so much and have grown and matured and loved along the way.
Well, now we are back and only a little over a week until my baby girl heads off for Kindergarten. Aughhhhh! I am not handling that one too well. Today we planned to live it up at the pool, but my little boy woke up and went straight to the couch. He fell back asleep. And now at 11am he has only taken a few bites of a saltine and a bite of toast and a couple of sips of water and he has thrown up 4 times. Gross! I hate throw up! He feels so rotten and he keeps begging for food and it is just awful. My poor little baby boy.
Oh and yesterday, I was leaving the library (the kids did get their trophy's last week--very proud). Anyway as I was leaving the library and closed my car door I heard a really loud sound. I was talking to 3 kids and trying to call my friend and didn't think much of it. Well, as I drove away from the library my driver's window rolled down all by its self--odd I know. It rolled down nice and slow as if I was pushing the button myself. I wasn't and neither was anyone else and well, now it's nice and stuck. So, today my car is in the shop. Thanks to Butch (our mechanic) for getting us in so quickly! You have to trust a mechanic named Butch, right?

I saw your mom and Heather yesterday at Wendy's...I heard about the puking. That's no fun! That happened to our window too. We thought we needed a new motor but the mechanic just greased up the motor in the window and said we're good to go. It's been 3 years now and we didn't have to pay for a motor, whew! :) Sounds like a fun anniversary! I didn't know we've been married longer than you guys! How crazy.
Happy late anniversary. Sounds like you had a nice time!
I can't believe you are sad about Emily going to Kindergarten! I was so excited for Logan to go. I guess it's just the whole, I can't believe my baby girl is growing up so fast thing, but I was still glad. And I really can't wait for her to start 1st grade! ONLY 3 more days!!!! Can you tell I'm excited. She just really needs the interaction with other kids. She thrives on it! It will be such a huge relief!
Our Eight year anniversary is coming up in Novemeber, and we are going to be in INDIA for our anniversary!! We'll also get to go to Nepal, while over there. My parents are taking us with them. They do a lot of traveling now, and it's finally our turn to go! We are so excited! The kids are stayin' home with the other grandma for two weeks!!!! Yeah! We can't wait!
