We are in the heart of April, which means we are in the heart of the birthday fun once again. This year we are on Fabulous Fridays. Devin's 2nd birthday we spent camping at Huntsville State Park. Kylie's Friday the 13th birthday, will be spent hanging around here and I think we are all going to go to a park that she loves. Dallin's, next week, will involve lots of pizza and little boys acting crazy! He is so fun. Devin is talking like crazy. The terrible 2's hit about a week before his birthday. It is driving me a bit batty, but the nice thing is that he actually passes through stages--it won't last forever. With Kylie, sometimes it seems her stages last forever. So, it is nice to see devin move on and develop. We are working on getting Kylie into an ABA school for the summer--I sure hope so, it would be such a blessing.
I should include some pictures, but that would require me to get them off my phone onto the computer and I really want to eat breakfast..hehe.
I wanted to write about my favorite part of each day. I know it, too, won't last forever, but I am truly grateful for it. I walk my kiddos to school each morning. The bus comes and gets Kylie and then Emily, Dallin Devin and I walk to school. We talk. We laugh. There is little stress. The lunches are already packed, breakfast already eaten and clothes already chosen. It's 10 minutes of just being with my kids with not a thing in the world to worry about but walking. I love that 10 minutes. Devin says some crazy things and we all laugh. Dallin finds ridiculous sized sticks and sings amazingly annoying songs and Emily squeezes my hand and rolls her eyes, always saying, " Mom we are having another BOY!" But I love it. On the walk back, Devin points out every bus and car and plane and the moon and yells bye to the crossing guard. My life is a hectic non-orderly mess. I am not on top of anything and I feel like I am barely getting by, but I have been blessed with my 10 minute walk to school with 3 amazing kids and for that I am grateful.
