Ok, so a week ago for family night, David had the treat as his assignment. Well we loaded everyone up, went down to Town Center and brought a soccer ball kicked it around. Then stopped in at Ben and Jerry's for some ice cream cones. (We had a groupon--we aren't typically the kind of family to drop $20 on a Monday night treat.) It was a big hit with the kiddos as you can imagine.
Well, as last night approached it was Dallin's turn for treat. He informed me that we were going to Ben and Jerry's again. I informed him that no we were not! He was sad. I told him to think of something else. Finally, on Sunday night he asked me to buy cones, so I did the next day. Monday, after school, he decided to get creative and he and Emily, instead of practicing piano, made their own little Ben & Jerry's. They took our orders and everything--super fun! Notice the "Welcome to Ben and Jerry's" hats Dallin made.
