Well, here we are five weeks into it. That cute outfit above is from a co-worker of David's. Anyway, we have seen Kylie's 3rd birthday and her starting PPCD (preschool at a local elementary), Dallin's 5th birthday, Dallin getting glasses, (I raise them blind apparently), my grandmother pass away, t-ball come and almost go and Emily's mother's day reading at school--it was beautiful! I need to post more details on all of this, but of course instead I am going to post about this cute little bundle I tote around with me always. He is great. He is weighing in at 10lbs 4 ounces and that was a week ago. The kids love him and he is a very content and happy child.
Kylie, of course, hates him and even makes a really mean face anytime you ask her where Devin is. She is now sleeping through the night again and napping; all that came to an abrupt halt when he was born. All the play mats and infant toys I have brought out, she demands to play with and gets pretty agitated when I put him there, but that means that Kylie is aware and determined and all that is really good. She hasn't seen a therapist in almost 2 months except what she is now getting at school. We've got to get back into things...
Well, all has not been completely rosy with this little man, even though he is giving me on average 5-7 hours of sleep at night. It has been so nice the last few days that I actually jogged up the stairs yesterday. I no longer view myself of being so sleep deprived that death is imminent. :)
Anyway, with all that being said, nursing has brought it's challenges this go around. Fourth kid and you would think that I have all this down. I haven't had such problems with any of the previous kiddos. Anyway, we've gone through mastitis, leaving me with a 103 fever, which was followed a week later by thrush for both of us. No fun and TONS of pain, but we are getting through it and I am just so grateful that he can nurse. So that is all the updates for now, Kylie just got home from school, she needs to eat lunch and hopefully I can get that done before Dallin gets home and Devin needs to eat again...here we go...

Can't believe he's 5 weeks already!! Time is ultra slow for me right now, as you know how that goes the last month of your pregnancy. He's such a sweet boy! How fun for you guys!
Great pictures. I can't believe all the stuff that is happening. Great to hear!
