Haircuts, dryers and bubbles

Well, we are still enjoying summer and the much less rigorous schedule.  We are still doing piano lessons through the summer and Kylie, of course, still has her 3 therapies a week, but we still have fun.  We have spent a lot of time at the pool and the kids always beg for a bubble bath with the jets afterward.  Why, I don't know.  They have just spent 2-3 hours at the pool and normally I don't give in, it's just more hassle, but every once in awhile they catch me on a good day and I cave.  They are so cute together.  Kylie loves to watch the action, but she gets way too wild if I try to put her in with them.

The other day I was switching laundry in the machine and before I could get done what needed to be done, this is what I found.  Man I love that kid!!

And finally, I took Emily to Sweet and Sassy for a good back to school haircut.  That place is so cute!  She had a blast being treated like a princess.  They end the cut with a glitter star on her cheek, glitter spray in her hair and a huge lolipop--every girl's dream, I know!  She really enjoyed posing for pictures after the fact.  She came home telling David that she had a "real grown-up haircut!"  She was ecstatic!

Last, but certainly not least David and I celebrated our 8th Anniversary on Monday.  It is really hard to believe it has been that many years and yet, it seems we've been together forever.  So, Happy 8 Years to Us!  Oh and thanks for all the book suggestions, I've requested several of them from the library, next week should be so much fun!
