Teeth, Ears, Prayers & Stairs

So, here we are with another week down and February gone. Did the sickness kindly stay behind??? Of course not! David and I joined the local YMCA a couple of weeks back. I've enjoyed Pilates and the kids love the kid zone and all is well...until unknown baby took a lick at the toy I brought Kylie. I saw her do it, so how many times had it happened before? Who knows, who cares? The end result: me tromping back to the Dr.'s office on Monday and leaving with Amoxicillin for an ear infection. At least she is already feeling and sleeping better, so that's good.

Sweet, sweet Dallin. I love that kid! First of all, I only have one sister and no brothers for those of you who don't know and with that I am constantly amazed at the exuberance of little boys! Holy Cow! This picture should sum up his abilities. Yes, up until last night that spindle did go all the way down! He didn't fall two stories, that's the important thing--right?!
In other Dallin news: Sunday night we were talking about some of the things we were going to do on Monday night--buy some fish for our aquarium and get Pizza from Papa John's. Soon after this conversation David asked Dallin to say our evening family prayer. This is what was heard:

"Please bless that we can go to Papa John's and sit down and eat pizza and please bless that our fish won't be lonely anymore. Bless that we can go to the fish store and buy lots of fish so he can have friends and that he won't be lonely anymore..."

I love and cherish three-year-old prayers!
On to Emily. She has been working on this second loose tooth for a very long time now. As of Sunday afternoon it had become quite loose. Then she ran and knocked her face into the back of the couch and bruised the heck out of gum and the poor tooth was now bleeding like crazy. However, even after the tears and the popsicle the tooth was still hanging on for dear life. Well, we'd all had enough and we all wanted to try the string tied to the door knob trick. Three times the string fell off the tooth. The fourth time I tied it--sorry David, I do have smaller fingers. Then the string broke as we slammed the door, so David just picked up the broken string dangling from her mouth and gave it a good tug. Out came the tooth with a loud POP! She is so proud and the best part is she has the cutest lisp now. I know all kids get them when they loose their top teeth, but I hadn't thought about it before and I love it! I try hard not to giggle at her, but it is
super cute!

Wow! Lots of crazy adventures going on at your house, as always! Glad all the kiddos are all okay now!
Did you read the catch in the pay it forward post on my blog. I also left you another comments on that post. I think you missed something!! Let me know if you still want in! :)
P.S.-Sorry to Kylie about never embroidering an announcement, if it makes you feel any better, I never made one for Autumn either, and she is now past two years old. Maybe some day!
