Two Fridays ago I woke up and went to Pilates and promised Dallin that his friend was going to be in the Kid Zone with him. My friend woke up late, so when I came to pick him up when I was done I found a very sad little boy. Well, we rushed home and Kylie's speech therapist came minutes later and so with all that attention being focused on Kylie he had had enough. So I suggested, after Kumar left, that we go play TBall in the backyard. This brightened his mood for about a nanosecond and then he was just plain old cranky! As a side, David has been working much longer hours at work and with him being YM President and me YW secretary our weekends and evenings seem to be constantly pulling us in different directions. Needless to say, our boy needed some good ole fashioned daddy time. A phone call was made and a short time later we headed (with a Jack in the Box lunch) to Memorial Park. There we met Daddy, had lunch on the grass, threw a frisbee and did underdogs with him and Kylie on the swings. He loved it and I loved seeing David too. So, here are a couple pics of the "perfect afternoon picnic."

Also, last Saturday, we were pulling weeds in the backyard rock and flower beds. They were a mess because a ton of clover had taken over. Emily declared, " I am going to find a four-leaf clover!" I proceed to explain that I spent most of my 3rd grade year searching for a four-leaf clover and pretty much they don't really exist or are nearly impossible to find. Approximately 1 minute later--"Hey Mommy, Look what I found!" And there it is folks...one whole year of my little girl spare time wasted verses one minute in our back yard by our six-year-old. Apparently, we breed them with better luck then we have ourselves!
Happy St. Patrick's Day~
