October, whew...

Ok, October is a crazy crazy month!  We have stayed very busy and overwhelmed but have had some fun times too.  Kylie is on her 3rd set of casts.  Tomorrow she will get her fourth and final set.  Let's hope it is a quick two weeks for all involved.  She has been screaming--A LOT!  Emily and Kylie share a room and probably about half of the last month, Emily has slept in the guest bed.  It hasn't been pleasant.  Kylie screamed so much yesterday that she didn't wake up until 10am, but it seemed to do her good to get some solid sleep.  She was in a much better mood today.

Devin, well he is crazy.   He climbs onto everything and is truly living up to his 18months.  He talks more and more and screams and gets into things.  Most days our bar stools are laying on their side to prevent him from scaling them and sitting on the counter top.  He started nursery this month and yep, it only took one Sunday and he ended up in the doctor's office with hand, foot and mouth disease.  It was HORRIBLE.  We wouldn't eat or drink for days.  It was a massive fight to syringe liquid in him, but he survived and so did I.

Emily, she is active in student council, Faith in God activity day girls and her 3rd grade musical as well as keeping up with the G/T homework and tests.  She's having a really great year and staying really busy.  She still takes piano and plays very well.  She is making many more friends this year and I am so so glad.  We have had some rough friend years in the past.  She lost her first molar last night and, like I mentioned earlier, has become a semi-permanent resident of the guest bed due to her sister.
She left a note for the tooth fairy tonight stating:  Dear tooth fairy, I will be in the study tonight, Love Emily PS: Be careful Kylie can be really loud.  PSS This is for you (and she left her a silly band).  Cute girl!  I feel bad for all the disruptive nights she has had too.

Dallin, he is really improving with his reading, still the lover of all things Wii, and his bike.  The kid loves his bike.  He keeps asking David to build him a bike ramp...time folks where can we buy more of it???  He is still playing piano and doing well and his on a soccer team again this year.  His friend Ben is on the team with him and he's doing great.  Dallin has been a little hesitant this past year to push himself due to his asthma, but through lots of conversations with us and the nurse at school and the doctor he finally back up to speed.  Yay!

Well, I will post more about the 3rd grade musical later, her performance is tomorrow.  This past weekend we went camping.  4 other families from Church came with us, (1 didn't spend the night)  If you take out the Horrendous night sleep and the 15 trillion mosquito's that hatched that day it was a great trip.  We took a couple of bike rides.  Dallin played and played with the other boys.  Emily, aka, bookworm, laid in the hammock for hours reading Fablehaven and we actually got in some nice adult conversation, (above Kylie's screams).

Well, here are some pictures of the fun!
