Astros Game
Well we headed to the Astros last weekend. They lost. They always seem to these days. We went with my parents and sister and even with 5 adults and 4 kids we still couldn't make it the whole game. Kylie doesn't like loud noises and screamed a ton after Carlos Lee's home run. She wouldn't stop. Devin was very active and feeling quite restrained by being asked to stay somewhat contained in our seats, Emily, well she was Emily and 8 and did great. Dallin did ok, but still got bored and sucked down a large sprite which lead to an obscene number of trips to the bathroom. We took the boys to the play ground area in the stadium for a time, but Kylie lost it during that time. I think we made it through about 5 innings. That's it. Pretty pathetic. David made me promise him that we would never again take all 4 kids to a game. He didn't mean it, I know, but it will be awhile before we dare try it again. We use to get suite tickets every year through the Chronicle and we only had two kids. A couple of times we took 3, but 4... 4 is a little crazy!! Thanks mom and dad for the tickets, maybe we'll try again in about 10 years!

At least you tried! Major points for trying it anyway. I can only imagine the chaos... :) Sometimes we just have to give ourselves points for trying. I say that a lot to myself lately!! :)
You are brave! We try not to do anything in public with any of our kids, ever. Ha ha! J/K. They can be so crazy sometimes. And embarrassing. I know. It's nice to try to get out of the house sometimes though!
