This past week

Well this past Valentine's Day we went all out and had individual heart shaped pizzas and heart shaped brownies for dessert.  When you have this many kids and it being on Monday night David and I weren't heading anywhere, so we did something fun for the kiddos.  But David and I are heading out tonight for dinner, so yay!

Also, I am a huge fan of freecycle.  In our personal economic downturn this past year, I looked into it and have become an excited participant.  Yesterday we got Devin this fire engine toddler bed that looks like new.  We will save it for when he is older and ready to move out of the crib. We've never moved the kids to toddler beds before because we always had a new baby to fill the crib, but no more!   Dallin was so excited about it that he slept in it last night and Devin slept in the pack n' play.  The best part was, not only did we get this fun and amazing bed for free, the lady who David it picked it up from also gave us 4 pair of brand new, with tags on, baby boy shoes, 2 bags of 12-18 month size clothes, 1 bag of board books and several baby trucks.  Holy Moly.  It was a lot and she has some decent taste in clothes and shoes too.  :)  Plus this morning I went to the Little Tykes fill-a-bag sale (you pay $20 for this little bag and shove as much as you can in it).  My tight rolling abilities came in handy for 5 things for Emily, 4 for Devin, 3 for Kylie and 2 for Dallin.  I am apparently a bargaining machine...

And here is my cutie patootie with his bootie in the air!

Nice job on all the bargain shopping! I love finding deals! And Devin sleeping on his tummy with his bum in the air is so cute! Love the valentines day celebration! We did NOTHING, except gave the girls a few treats. James worked from midnight (mon morning) til 4 pm when I went to work until 8 and then he was asleep when I got home! Wahoo! So romantic!

I thought those heart shaped pizzas turned out sooo cute! I'm going to steal that idea for us for next Valentine's Day. That is so cool that you got that adorable bed and all that stuff from that lady for free. What a cool thing!
