trophys, graduation and swallowing

Well, life is settling down, t-ball is over (yea!) and Emily has just 2.75 hours left of Kindergarten. She had her Kindergarten Celebration yesterday and of course it made me cry. They were up there singing their little hearts out and she kept doing a little dance while she sang. It was just too cute. Of course, my friend Sally, and I got the girls matching dresses--their class had to wear green. Plus the teachers had put together a slideshow (with music) that was just precious. The video/slide show started out with the words "Class of 2021"! Are you kidding me?! I've never really considered the fact that she would graduate one day. I freaked! Are all Kindergarten Moms this emotional? Anyway, just one more really short day and then no more rushing to get her out the door and waking up Kylie to pick her up. :)

T-ball ended and they got their trophies at our little end of season party at Chick-fil-A. Dallin loves his and now everytime we've gone to Chick-fil-A since he asks me, what are they (chick-fil-a) going to give me this time?? He gets pretty disappointed with the Kids meal book.

We went camping over Memorial day weekend too. We just went for one night, but we walked along the trail for miles and saw birds and alligators, we played soccer, and the kids rode their scooters. We layed in the hammock, read books and baked teriyaki chicken and blueberry cobbler in the dutch oven. It was fabulous, but a ton of work to get there and clean up when we got home.

Emily also had her final dance recital for the year. The ho-down number was hysterical/adorable watching them in their cowgirl boots, strutting around. I loved it!

Dallin also "graduated" from Joy School and we had a little party for all the kiddos.

Plus this week they started swim lessons--whew! They are both learning so fast and really improving--maybe they're going to take after their mom on this one...

Now last but certainly not least today Kylie went in for another swallow study. I worked myself up into quite a little fit with my nerves. I have perfected the racing heart. Anyway, I just really wanted her to pass. This was her fourth one and she has never passed the thin liquids. Her speech therapist had recommended we go and I just knew this would cost a ton of money and that she wouldn't pass, etc. etc.
Well, whaddya know? You pray and stretch her and see a million therapists and that little girl pulls through. Yep, she passed her swallow study. Hip Hip Hooray! Of course again that doesn't mean she's ready to drag around a sippy cup, but at least now we can work toward that goal! Oh yeah, plus our insurance covered it 100%. What's this?! They don't do things like that? Some giant good cloud must of planted itself over top of us today.

What wonderful news. The entire post is full of good things. Though I understand the freaking out to think of Emily graduating from high school. David isn't even in kindergarten yet and I get uncomfortable thinking of him one day being in high school.

On a side note, the white text and light background a bit hard to read.

What great news from all your kids! I bet you're so relieved about Kylie's test, though. I love all the pictures!!! I can't wait to see you guys in a couple of weeks.
