Memories

I realized recently that I never posted pictures from my cousin Angie's wedding--sorry Pange! Anyway, she and Jason were married last May and our little Emily was their flower girl. She was the flower girl the summer before for Angie's sister, Chrissy, too. Lots of use for a beautiful dress. Maybe the reason I thought of it is that this Sunday Emily's Junior Primary is recreating the Nativity scene and Emily will be an angel and they've asked her to wear white. So she will be donning the flower girl dress once again. Needless to say she is excited. Also this past weekend I took Emily to see the Nutcracker with some girls from her dance class. In my usual manner, I forgot the camera. So, Amber when you read this, it's your reminder to send me the pictures--thanks!
Alright so back to the flower girl, I just want to post some of these pictures, so here we go. I forgot to mention that she had been determined to catch the bouquet as soon as she found out that meant that she would get married. Well, the more age-appropriate girls fumbled it and she swooped it off the ground. So, yes, my five-year-old caught the bouquet! Oh, Heavens!

Then these last two are from Chrissy wedding summer of '07

And lastly a favorite video from quite a while ago. This was from May of 2007. The kids went through a phase of wanting to walk on the moon and be spacemen. Emily found an old coat of mine from the college days in Utah and said it was a space suit. Then she added some tall boots of mine and a belt and it made for one great way to blackmail her in the future. Well, we have found this hilarious, but maybe you just have to be the parent's on this one. Anyway, we love to torture our children so here you go!

That video is hilarious. It looks so funny from the back and the jumping part is the best.
